Special Needs
Our special needs ministry strives to meet kids needs in an inclusion environment. We ask that parents chat with us and fill out a short questionnaire about their child’s needs. The child can then become a part of the class with their same-age peers. If needed, a specially trained adult or older child can buddy up with the child to shadow them and help them succeed in each class or activity they participate in each week. A number of shadows are already trained to be efficient at guiding children with various challenges as they make new friends and learn that God loves them exactly as they are! We also have a sensory station set up to meet the needs of children who face sensory challenges. |
